Intermediate Skills for Challenging Situations

Building on the Bronze level, the Silver Certification offers more advanced training for security personnel who are ready to take on more responsibility and manage higher-risk situations. This level emphasizes crisis management, legal understanding, and how to professionally engage with both clients and the public.

Course Content:

  • Completion of Level 1 Courses ✔️: To proceed, participants must complete all Bronze certification courses.

  • Crowd Management and Crowd Control 👥: Learn how to manage and control crowds during events or emergencies.

  • De-Escalation of Force ✋: Master techniques for defusing tense situations and avoiding escalation.

  • Legal Responsibilities of Private Security ⚖️: Understand the legal framework within which security professionals operate, including use of force and liability.

  • Public Relations (Community and Client Relations) 🧑‍🤝‍🧑: Learn how to engage with the community and clients to build trust and ensure smooth operations.

  • Situational Response (Parts 1 & 2) 🚨: Develop the ability to assess and respond to a variety of real-world scenarios.

  • Crisis Intervention 🆘: Master strategies for managing and de-escalating crisis situations, including mental health-related incidents.
