Gamal V. Newry
President & Senior Consultant
Mr. Newry is a National and International expert in the area of security and loss prevention, and has done numerous consulting, training and investigative assignments. He has headed and developed policy and procedures for hospitals, major real estates and gated communities, and banks in the Bahamas. Mr. Newry has vast experience in the development security policy and procedures along with comprehensive training programs relating to fraud, background investigations, disaster management, business continuity, and crime risk management. Gamal studied Law and Criminal Justice at the College of the Bahamas and Risk Crisis and Disaster Management at the University of Leicester.
Lyndon Bird was joint founder of Continuity Planning Associates (CPA) in the Netherlands in 1986, having previously been involved with IT Disaster Recovery as Systems Director of a large US multi-national. As well as his role in CPA, he is Global Technical Director of the Business Continuity Institute (BCI). He is a member of BCM/1 which is the technical committee that developed BS25999 – the British Standard for Business Continuity. He is a Fellow of the BCI, Editor of “Journal of Business Continuity and Emergency Planning” and Technical Advisor to IRCA (International Register of Certified Auditors).
Throughout his career Mike has gained experience across a range of key business areas, including Information Technology, Personnel, Sales & Marketing, Business Management (including P&L), Training and Business Continuity. The accumulation of this experience has provided Mike with a well-rounded and complimentary range of skills and knowledge, which enables him to operate at all levels within an organisation.
Raymond C. Wells, PhD
Dr. Raymond C. Wells is currently the CEO of Carapace InfoSec Ltd. where he is responsible for the strategic rollout of the company’s vision. Dr. Wells role include overseeing the forensic section that is focused on network security, computer and mobile forensics. Carapace InfoSec Ltd. is dedicated to the confidentiality, integrity and protection of data and given his vast experience, Dr. Wells is now engaged in a project that will revolutionize the manner in which critical data is protected within The Bahamas.
L. Burke Files
Mr. Files is the head of an international investigative firm specializing in asset recovery, due diligence, anti money laundering and intellectual property matters. Prior to this Mr. Files was a partner in a regional consulting firm specializing in business, financial and securities consulting and served as the Director of Corporate Finance for an investment banking company.
